Family Visitations

Today I got up about 7 a.m. The Child was screaming about a shark or something that was getting Tom and Jerry. I put up some clothes from the dryer. Yes, I let them sit there all night instead of getting them when they were warm and wrinkle-free. I have this as a pattern in my life. Then I got myself together and got out of there around 8:45ish. That was pretty good, for me.

I travelled to my parents home, stayed here (I'm still here.), and then travelled to see my nephew (Also my brother and sis-in-law, but who am I kidding? The one-year old is the main attraction!) We played and rough-housed and napped, among other things. After he wore me out, I came back to the 'rents' house. Momma had made a lovely spaghetti dinner. Nobody chops celery the way I like it like she does.

Then I tried out the new elliptical that she and Diddy bought recently. Diddy scans every Shoppers' Guide within a 100 mile radius and listens to the "Dixie Country Flea Market" on his a radio station that isn't too far away. He's bought cars, boats, and all manner of farm implements. This elliptical, however, is by far his best buy. I did an hour. Diddy was upset by a clicking noise it was making, but it was just a matter of the shifting of the machine. I told him that machines at the gym will make this sound too. Obviously, unbeknownst to me, I am a giant liar and have something to gain from telling this monstrous prevarication?!? Small blip on the radar, I suppose. Everything was fine.

Well, I think I'm going to try to get a shower and go on to bed. I'm tired.

Night!
