With the kids, we have 4 days left. Technically, it's 3 1/2, since Friday is an early release day. I'm REALLY excited about this.
Today I arrived to find profanity sprayed on the school and trash strewn in the doorway. The smart people who committed this demanded that we, the teachers, commit certain lewd acts. I decided I'd take a pass on that. These people are awesome. They know how to spell the f-word, but can't spell our principal's name.
Well, I ran/walked the 5K in 46 minutes 40 seconds. People who full-out run do this in twenty-something minutes, but for my first time, it was good. We enjoyed Tybee on after the race on Saturday, ate at Spanky's, and were back in the hotel in bed at about 9:30. We are animals.

- I watch too much television. I'm annoyed by stupid people. (Those two things don't exactly mesh, do they?) I think that Nipsey Russell and Charles Nelson Reilly were geniuses (may they RIP!). *I like old movies way too much. I believe that Katharine Hepburn is still the best-ever actress. Morgan Freeman is my favorite actor. James Morrison is my new favorite singer. *I am obsessed with getting the perfect mix for my treadmill walk/jog and elliptical time. *And, I'm out there trying, on a daily basis to educate America's youth in the field of mathematics. High school kids. That's somewhat of a handle for me, but I LOVE it!

congratulations on finishing that run! I may do that after all. I think there's something big about that sense of accomplishment!
